BOTCT Round 2 and another freebie!!!

Well, Scrapmuss Design's CT Stars didn't come out on top for Round 1, but we're still battling along trying to show off our skills! Round 2 just closed, and the theme is all about music and lyrics. The CT Stars decided to choose any Disney movie, and incorporate lyrics from the movie into the layout. My lyrics are from Fox and the Hound. Image is linked to DSA for credits. ScrapMatter's July QPE

Maria of Scrapmuss Designs will have the featured kit for the July Quickpage Exchange at ScrapMatters. "Summer Solstice" (out today) will be perfect for summer photos! Be sure to pick up the kit in advance of the QPE, which begins July 13!

Using Shape Collage

From a top on the DIS, I found this wonderful collage tool. I first tried it out on this LO, where I used photos from a 2006 trip to make this collage of a Mickey head. I'm so excited about trying this, and I've already made quite a few collages just testing the capabilities.

To download the free program, just Google "Shape Collage." There are Mac and PC versions. I just love how this LO turned out!!!

It's been a while... some Disney LO's

I've been a scrapping maniac lately... I am just loving the digi life!!! I don't think I'm ever going back. I love that I can stop and start and not leave a mess out everywhere! I think I've created over 150 LOs since January. That's got to be a record for me!!!

Since I'm nearly out of recent 2009 photos, I've dipped back into the "archives" to pull out some photos from 2005 and 2006. Here are a few of my recent creations, including new and older photos:

This was done for a Speed Scrap at ScrapMatters. I love this photo and am so pleased at how this LO turned out. This is one of my favorite Disney photos of Shawn and I (taken in 2006).


These photos are from 2007 when we found the Leave a Legacy tile that we had created on the previous WDW trip.

One of my favorites that I've done so far. These photos are from a previous trip, but I just love the memory of it. :)


Using one of Scrapmuss Designs' templates, this LO shows off the whopping amount of bulk candy we were able to buy for $12. Yeah right!


Just made this one today... for a Tuesday Template challenge at ScrapMatters.


This was created for another DIS digi challenge... part of the challenge was to include at least one b&w photograph.

First official LO for Scrapmuss

Shawn and I went to Disney's Doorway to Dreams grand opening in Schaumburg, IL in August 2007. It was such great Disney fun! I wanted to use bright color to match the atmosphere at the event (minus the horrendous Dee Vee Cee, of course). {{Disney people will get that reference.}} Scrapmuss Designs' "Paper Blues" kit was the perfect choice.

I'm joining Scrapmuss Designs' CT!!!

I am very excited (and proud) to announce that I have been selected to be a member of the creative team (CT) for Scrapmuss Designs.

Now that the scavenger hunt over on Scrap Matters is complete, we have all been "found." {{{How cool.}}}
